Location: Remote
Salary: £35,000 p.a. pro rata (30 hours/week) 6% pension contribution

Rape Crisis England & Wales (RCEW), in partnership with Defour Partnership, is recruiting a dynamic, creative, and trauma-informed Support Line Website and Communications Coordinator. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our national 24/7 Support Line is accessible, visible, and responsive to the needs of survivors, particularly those from marginalised communities.
About the Role
You'll lead on both the maintenance and development of the Support Line website and coordinate the communications that helps survivors know about and access the service'.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the 24/7 Support Line website — functionality, accessibility (WCAG compliance), and user experience.
- Lead digital development projects with external agencies — ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Create inclusive, trauma-informed content aligned with RCEW's values and brand.
- Work with UK Government funders and internal colleagues to promote the service effectively across digital channels.
- Use data and analytics to optimise communications and track impact.
About You
You're a digital communications specialist who is:
- Experienced in managing websites and coordinating with developers and agencies.
- Confident in using analytics tools and SEO strategies to improve engagement.
- Skilled in writing survivor-centred, trauma-informed content.
- Passionate about digital accessibility and inclusion.
- A capable project manager and communicator, able to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working alongside funders, outreach coordinators, and survivor voices.
We require the post holder to be female – Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR), Schedule 9 (Work; Exceptions), Part 1 (Occupational Requirements), of the Equality Act (2010) applies. RCEW and local Rape Crisis Centres provide space where women and children who have experienced sexual violence and abuse are supported and can access services.
