Job Title: Residential Childcare Assessor (Temporary, Full-Time)
Location: Leeds (with travel to Preston and surrounding areas)
Duration: 6 months
Hourly Rate: £25 per hour including Holiday Pay

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Childcare Assessor to join the team on a full-time, temporary basis for 6 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing apprentices working towards Level 3-5 qualifications in Residential Childcare. While the role is based in Leeds, travel to Preston and other workplaces of apprentices will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and providing feedback to apprentices working towards Level 3-5 Residential Childcare qualifications.
- Supporting apprentices in their learning journey, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Planning and delivering training sessions, both in-person and remotely.
- Maintaining accurate records of apprentice progress and assessment outcomes.
- Liaising with employers and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to apprentice development.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Residential Childcare (Level 3-5).
- Proven experience as an assessor in a similar role, with apprenticeship experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Must be a driver with access to a vehicle, as travel to Preston and other workplaces is required.
- Must be in Leeds once per week.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
