Business Analyst

Service Care Solutions are looking for a Business Analyst to work within the Yorkshire area on a permanent basis.

Location: Leeds

Job role/responsibilities:
Deliver programmes and projects to realise value to maximise growth.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand the needs of departments and the organisation.
  • Lead responsibility for managing the successful design, strategic / functional specification requirements and implementation of key corporate systems supporting the organisation's business plan.
  • Lead responsibility for the development of quality assured business specifications, user acceptance testing of new systems and implementation of business processes.
  • Manage the specification of new system requirements and businesses processes.
  • Ensure that comprehensive User Acceptance Testing follows a proven and appropriate methodology and is comprehensively adopted to prove business and technical acceptance.
  • Work within rigorous project/programme/service frameworks requiring a professional and delivery-focused consultancy outlook.
  • Deliver against challenging objectives with a proven ability to work with all levels inside and outside the organisation.
  • Advise and assist in the definition and execution of User Acceptance Test. Ensure that testers understand the approach and are given training on UAT where required.
  • Produce procurement and tender documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to Degree level with relevant qualification in Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant knowledge and experience of business modelling techniques and project management principles and methodologies (such as PRINCE2/AGILE).

Knowledge/Experience required:

  • Extensive analysis knowledge gained from significant experience of business analysis projects to enable problems to be investigated and options for new and existing services to be evaluated. Knowledge of how to provide recommendations to solutions.
  • Significant knowledge of business modelling techniques and business improvement processes.
  • Strong experience of agile working with ability to. identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. Knowledge of how to help the team to decide the best approach.
  • Knowledge of how to gain the necessary agreement needed from subject matter experts and stakeholders for analysis processes.
  • Strong knowledge of business process testing with demonstrable ability of enabling the planning, design, management and reporting of business process tests and usability evaluations. Ability to apply evaluation skills to see how appropriate or useful the defined process is going to be.
