Our client is a large local government organisation and looking for an experienced Senior Legal Assistant to join their team
This is initially a 1 yesr contract which may be extended for the right applicant
To assist with the work of the Legal Services, typically in the following areas: a. Child care
Conveyancing (sales, purchases, leases and associated landlord and tenant matters, licences, easements etc.)
Legal notices and agreements under the Highways Acts d. Traffic management and other statutory orders e. Compensation claims arising from road improvement schemes
General legal advice to other Directorates on aspects relating to land and other matters
Trading Standards prosecutions
Pay and Display prosecutions
Public Rights of Way issues
Adult Social Care To manage a caseload as allocated relating to any of the above with minimum supervision
