Are you considering a career change in customer service that fits around your lifestyle and commitments? Maybe you're looking for a new job but lack the confidence to apply, or perhaps you've never thought about a Contact Centre role before but are curious about working with a reputable brand like EE.

You're not alone! Many people have left the workforce in recent years as priorities shifted, and now they're looking to return. Your priorities might have changed since you last worked, and you might want a job that fits around your lifestyle rather than being all-consuming. You might need to explore a new sector because flexibility isn't available in the one you left. We understand it can be tough to look for a new role, especially if it's been a while since your last interview or if you're moving to a new industry. You know you'd be great, but you might be missing the confidence to apply.

Reed Talent Solutions has partnered with EE (BT Group) to support people just like you!

At Reed, we recognize that people like you can sometimes face barriers, and we want to remove them! Life experience is just as important, if not more so, than industry experience, and we know that this experience would be invaluable to the customer service sector.

What Reed and EE are offering:

To harness this experience, we are offering a unique opportunity to spend some time with EE at their contact centre in Doncaster to see if the customer service sector is for you. You'll meet people who work in the industry, from all sorts of backgrounds, all with the goal of providing great service to customers. You'll listen to live calls from actual customers and get a real insight into what it's like to support customers over the phone.

You'll also receive a free training session on the same day to equip you with the essential customer service skills you need to move into the sector and be successful.

We understand that being equipped to return to work in a new sector is great, but the opportunity needs to work for you. EE recognizes this and will guarantee you an interview following your experience and training day to discuss one of their flexible opportunities at the Doncaster contact centre.

What EE stands for:

We believe in a completely personal environment, where you're treated like you want to be treated. We're committed to working together to build a community where everyone feels they belong. Whatever your age, race, sexuality, disability, religion, or gender identity, we recognize and celebrate our differences and embrace diversity at all levels. Everyone is welcome at EE.

What are previously upskilled and reskilled candidates saying?

  • "The experience and training day is a fantastic idea for both employers and job seekers alike to get a good insight into whether the role is what the job seeker is looking for and for the employer to see if the job seekers are suitable to join their business."
  • "On the experience/training day, everyone was smiling, welcoming, and approachable. I was extremely comfortable throughout."
  • "I would not have applied without the experience days because of 1. low confidence 2. call centre work hasn't had a good reputation in the past, so I felt that it would not be the right fit for me. However, the experience gave me an insight into EE's supportive attitude to the staff, so I decided I would give the role a go."
