I am currently recruiting an Electrician to work on behalf of the City Of Doncaster Council
At Doncaster City Council, they take pride in maintaining safe and efficient electrical systems within our public buildings and schools. As part of the team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of the community through your expertise in commercial electrical work.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting full electrical refurbishments in public buildings
- Installing fire alarm systems
- Upgrading mains electrical infrastructure
- Implementing new SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) cables
- Setting up smart lighting solutions
- Troubleshooting and fault finding
- Working with conduit, tray, and trunking
- To carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations in accordance with BS7671
Requirements:
- Proven experience in commercial electrical installations
- Familiarity with fault finding in commercial, industrial, and domestic properties
- Knowledge of fire alarm maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Full driving licence
- 17th Edition Electrical regs
