Contract Type: Permanent - Fulltime
Shift Pattern/ Time: Sunday to Thursday, 06:00 - 18:00
Rate: £13.16
Location: Greencore Bow, Twelvetrees Crescent, London E3 3JG

What you will be doing -
- Oversee the Preparation team to ensure efficient ingredient preparation and transfer for production lines.
- Ensure compliance with site safety, health, and environmental procedures, setting an example for the team.
- Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices, including hygiene protocols, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with the WIP Team Leader and Goods-In department to ensure ingredients are prepared and available as required.
- Monitor ingredient traceability and mixing accuracy, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Assist with shift start-up checks and prepare the area for efficient operation at the beginning of each shift.
- Minimize ingredient wastage by ensuring proper weighing, stock rotation, and first-in, first-out practices.
- Monitor ingredient use-by dates to ensure product freshness and quality for the finished goods.
- Lead end-of-shift stock taking, including accuracy checks and processing of disposals.
- Escalate any issues to the Line Manager promptly and follow the instructions of site managers.
What we are looking for-
- Experience working in a food production environment is essential.
- Experience in a role involving manual handling is desired.
- Experience leading or overseeing a team (direct line management) is desired.
- On-the-job training provided for all tasks and machinery use; no specific task experience necessary.
