We are inviting applications for the position of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher at our dynamic secondary school in Doncaster. This maternity cover role commences in September 2024 and is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for languages and a commitment to high-quality teaching.
Day to Day of the role:
- Teach French or Spanish classes to a range of abilities across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students within your cohort.
- Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and to monitor and support student progress.
- Be accountable for student progress and development within the subject area.
- Organise and manage resources and the learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (UKQTS) with a degree in French or Spanish or related subject.
- Proven experience in teaching French or Spanish at secondary level.
- Ability to teach and lead across all key stages.
- Strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- A track record of delivering positive student outcomes.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff alike.
