Job Title: Transport Coordinator

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday

Location: Near Redditch (Hybrid working after successful completion of probation)

Salary: £24,000 - £24.500 per annum

Do you have experience within transport or logistics? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Coordinator to join our client, a well-established company based in modern offices near Redditch. Our client offers a professional environment where you can develop to your full potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating transport logistics in a timely manner alongside dealing with a variety of administrative tasks. Our client is looking for someone with strong customer service skills and attention to detail to join their team as soon as possible and will interview immediately.

Duties include:

  • Carry out administrative tasks related to the order process to include providing documentation, creating and registering customer details on to the inhouse systems.
  • Assign orders to specific sites.
  • Coordinate transportation according to customer requirements and preferences.
  • Handle customer returns efficiently.
  • Tailor specific delivery solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Manage price modifications effectively.
  • Monitor and manage invoices and billing irregularities.

Skills and experience required:

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in transport or logistics
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good standard of English, including spelling and grammar.
  • Possess a polite, friendly, and professional demeanour.
