Description

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues affecting production processes.
  • Perform timely repairs and adjustments to equipment to minimise downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
  • Reactive maintenance
  • Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and address root causes of equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.
  • Comply with all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Profile

  • Proven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of automated production equipment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • NVQ L3/HNC within the relevant engineering field
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and motor controls.
  • Familiarity with automation systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Availability to work flexible hours and respond to equipment emergencies as needed.
