Your New Role
Pro rata Salary - £25,726 - £26,632
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Inclusion Practitioner to join our team for a permanent position starting as soon as possible. Hays Education is looking for a candidate who:
- Has the ability to support specific learning difficulties, disabilities as defined in 1:1.
- Has experience of working with young people and adults with varying levels/ranges of specific learning difficulties, disabilities, sensory impairments and social emotional/behavioural difficulties.
- Has good ICT/Administration skills
- Has experience in numeracy, literacy and handwriting practice across KS3-KS5
- Has experience of supporting students with their SEND area of need within a classroom environment by offering adaptive approaches and strategies that will improve the outcomes for students in a lesson.
- Has enthusiasm, confidence, energy and optimism for all children
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be considered for this Inclusion Practitioner job you will have:
- Literacy Level 2 or equivalent or currently enroled on Literacy level 2 qualification or equivalent and achieved within 6 months.
- Numeracy Level 2 or equivalent or currently enroled on Numeracy level 2 qualification or equivalent and achieved within 6 months.
- Level 2 recognised qualification in Additional Learning Support or equivalent e.g. City & Guilds, Ptlls, Cert Ed, PGCE
- Level 3 recognised qualification in Additional Learning Support or willingness to work towards (Desirable)
