We are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September. This role offers both long-term temporary and permanent opportunities within a supportive school environment in Ealing. The ideal candidate will have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that meet the educational needs of Year 5 students.
- Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for Key Stage 2 SATs.
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes good behaviour and a strong classroom management.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the curriculum and provide a cohesive learning experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and professionals to support student development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment framework.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
