Key Responsibilities as an SEMH TA in Harrow:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs, assisting them with academic tasks and personal development goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, supported, and respected.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff members to develop and implement individualized support plans for students.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and techniques to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.

Requirements as an SEN TA in Harrow:
- Previous experience working with young people with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of young people.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and respond effectively to changing situations.
