Job Description

Our client is looking for a Dresser to join their expanding team.Working on dayshift initially with a view to moving onto a 2 or 3-shift rotation, this person must have at least 1 years' experience of working in a metal dressing finishing environment. Working with a variety of hand tools including electric grinders, pneumatic grinders and pad sanding tools. Mostly dressing welds on components of various shapes and sizes ready for painting. In some instances, parts are left with a dressed finish so must be of a high standard Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is desirable but not essential. The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx. 5 people the individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance.

Location: Shildon

Hours of work: 2 Shift Rotation

Monday - Thursday:

  • 6:00am - 3:30 pm
  • 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Friday:

  • 6:00am - 12:30pm
  • 12:30pm - 7:00pm

Rates of pay:

  • £13.73
