We're looking for an Enterprise Head of PMO to join an industry leading organisation that are going through a period of growth due to continued success!
This is a new hire to help the organisation further mature their Change function, taking ownership over all elements of their Enterprise Project Management Office.
The Head of ePMO will be a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the governance and execution of enterprise-wide projects and programs. This role requires a visionary individual who can align project outcomes with our business goals, ensure consistency in project management practices, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy: Define and drive the strategic direction of the ePMO, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a culture of excellence in project management
- Further educate and bring the rest of the business on board with your vision and strategy
- Governance: Establish and maintain project management frameworks, methodologies, and governance structures to ensure consistency and quality across all projects
- Resource Management: Optimise the allocation of resources across projects, balancing workload and ensuring the right skills are applied where needed
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications with senior leadership, ensuring transparency and effective decision-making
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the project portfolio, ensuring proactive management of potential issues
- Continuous Improvement: Lead the development and implementation of process improvements, leveraging industry best practices to enhance project delivery
- Mentorship & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team of project managers, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and drive accountability across the organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to make a real, tangible difference in an autonomous role. We're looking for someone who has experience in industries similar to Logistics, Construction, Manufacturing Engineering etc rather than Financial Services, Legal, etc.
This is a flexible hybrid role where you'll be home based travelling to sites as needed, mainly Manchester or Leeds.
