Due to phenomenal growth, we are searching for an Electrician to join a market leader in the renewable energy sector and become part of their Solar PV farm Operations and Maintenance team!
Job: Electrician
Salary: £39,000+ Per Annum
Location: Wisbech (multiple sites)

Type: Permanent / Monday - Friday with weekend on-call rotation 1 in 5
Electrician Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining assets across solar PV farms
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance for assets under O&M contracts
- Inspect, test and maintain Solar PV systems, resolving performance issues
- Replace key components such as inverters, modules, and cabling
- Provide timely and accurate reports with commercial insights
- Collaborate with asset manager and regional teams on daily operations
- Follow HSQE regulations
- Report potential risks to HSE
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and requirements
- Demonstrate flexibility towards working location and hours
Electrician Requirements:
- ECS Gold Card
- 18th Edition
- C&G Level 2 & 3 2330 (or equivalent)
- NVQ Level 3
- AM2
- 2391 Inspection and Testing (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Positive/ motivated approach with an interest in renewable energy technologies
- Work under pressure and without close supervision
If you have previous experience working with Solar PV or HV systems, this is preferable but not essential.
