As a Science Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to ignite curiosity and foster a love for science among the students. You'll deliver engaging lessons that capture the imagination and encourage exploration, helping students to develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts and their real-world applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive Science lessons aligned with the school's curriculum standards, ensuring that students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
- Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to excel.
- Utilise innovative and interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make scientific studies relevant and captivating for students.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
- A positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for science and promoting respectful behaviour among students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, or a related field.
- Teaching certification in Science.
- PGCE/QTS/QTLS
- Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level is preferred, not mandatory.
- Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school's curriculum.
