Emissions Certification Engineer
12 Month Contract - INSIDE IR35
£27.27 - £28.33 per hour
Hybrid - 3 days a week in Peterborough
We are looking to speak with people with emission certification experience to fill a key role within one of our global engineering clients.
Responsibilities:
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of engine emissions certification requirements, the associated legal obligations and business processes
- Coach different business areas on certification requirements to ensure timely execution of certification work streams
- Lead the execution of engine emissions certifications from receipt of request, through certificate received, to emissions label implementation
- Maintaining owned emissions certificates and associated labels through life of production
- Working with and nurturing relationships with global governmental agency representatives
Skills Required:
- Experience in obtaining engine emissions certification
- An engineering or legal education / background / experience
- A passion for doing things right and to a high standard
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse local and international teams
- Ability and interest in digesting regulatory materials
- Confident and effective communicator - able to articulate our focus on compliance, and to challenge the status quo where necessary, to establish the facts.
- Unrestricted passport with the ability to travel (occasionally) internationally
