Senior Business Application Analyst / Systems Analyst, Salary: £40-45k + 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays) with excellent benefits and career opportunities, Remote / Home based.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Application Analyst / Business Systems Analyst to work for a market leading Construction and hire business who are part of a global group. The successful candidate will work with the User community to gather requirements for new development requests, analyse their needs, and suggest process improvements in order for them to effectively adapt their processes to the new software.
Senior Business Application Analyst / Systems Analyst Main tasks;
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- Perform troubleshooting, investigation, analysis, and evaluation of escalated (day-to-day) problems to resolve system issues and track these issues using an internally developed issue tracking system.
- Work with the key business stakeholders (user community) and technical staff to develop permanent solutions to identified problems or enhancements to existing business applications.
- Work with the User community to ensure functional scripts are used for testing and training, user manuals are developed and/or updated to reflect the current state of business software, and develop and/or maintenance test cases to ensure the proper scenarios are tested in order to fully test functionality of the software application.
- Review and analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications.
- Ensure all activities conform to procedures and policies on change management, information security and confidentiality
Required Skills;
- Experience as a Business Applications Analyst / Systems Analyst or similar role
- Experience of supporting ERP systems
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail and strong desire for quality
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
