Job Title: Business Analyst - £700 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join one of our Financial Services clients, working closely and collaboratively with business and IT colleagues to deliver IT solutions delivering value to stakeholders and clients at the earliest opportunity while ensuring continuous improvement through feedback loops. (CSDs experience is required)

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the interface between business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of business drivers behind operational, functional, tactical, or strategic initiatives and the value they bring.
  • Provide counsel to business stakeholders and propose viable business solutions that are acceptable to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the implementation and deployment of system changes for business stakeholders, offering support, advice, and guidance throughout the change process.
  • Share ideas, drive improvements, and promote best practices within the business analyst community across all IT and non-IT divisions and locations.
  • Produce and validate test scenarios and perform execution of various testing phases.
  • Support user and client acceptance testing.

Your Profile:
Knowledge:

  • Understanding of Securities Settlements and Custody Services and the IT systems that support them.
  • Broad understanding of CSDs, CSD Regulation, and the role of CSDs as FMIs within the financial markets post-trade landscape.
  • Familiarity with securities market standards (e.g., SMPG, ISO 15022, ISO 20022).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Business Analysis role.
  • Successful project delivery using methodologies such as Waterfall, V-Model, SCRUM, SAFE.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • IIBA/BCS Business Analysis Diploma.
  • Experience in a Product Owner role.
  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing.
  • Understanding and experience of risk-based testing.
