Position: Food Technician
Location: Prestwich Secondary School, Prestwich
Hours: 8:00am to 4:00pm
Salary: Up to £100 per day
Contract: Long-term role until the end of the academic year
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of food technology lessons.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment.
- Support teachers and students during practical cooking sessions.
- Manage and order kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and used safely.
- Assist in developing and testing recipes for classroom use.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and school policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience working within a school environment is essential.
- Experience in catering or food preparation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
