Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team in Sittingbourne, Kent
The role entails (but is not limited to):
- Motivating and encouraging excellence within staff
- Day to day staff management - approving timesheets, developing staff, appraisals, disciplining, training, etc.
- Responding to customer enquiries and communication
- Planning workloads
- Monitoring health and safety and ensuring that all staff and visitors comply with health and safety procedures
- General administration support
- Ensuring that all depot and warehouse stock checks are conducted in line with procedure
- Assisting with recruitment when needed
- Assisting with any ad hoc tasks when needed
- Ensuring that pick/pack and dispatch operations are processed meticulously in line with processes and procedures.
- Monitoring warehouse KPI's
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse role
- Previous experience working in a supervisory/team leader role would be beneficial
- Good attention to detail
- Confidence speaking with both staff and customers
- Good communication skills
- Good organisation skills
Other details:
- The hourly rate of pay for this position is £12.90 per hour
- This is up to 40 hours per week
