Acoustic Consultant
My client is a distinguished multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in environmental, health, and safety services. Requirements:
- BSc and/or with an MSc in Acoustics or a related field
- AMIOA or MIOA Accredited membership from the IOA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of undertaking onsite noise and vibration assessments and surveys and compiling data in readiness for final technical reports
- Valid driver's licence
- Working knowledge of the British Standards and key regulations
Responsibilities:
- Assist junior employees on site to ensure project success
- Collate survey data and create a technical report for clients
- Conduct regular noise and vibration inspections to ensure compliance with British standards and building regulations at all project stages
- Perform regular environmental noise surveys and conduct necessary calculations
- Provide clients with expert guidance and remedial advice to prevent technical issues that could affect project completion and timelines
- Revise project plans and designs to ensure alignment with client specifications and statutory guidance
