We are looking for an experienced procurement specialist with a passion for the tech and telecom sectors who has a background in strategic sourcing within IT procurement to join a highly innovative business who are on a transformation journey.
About the Role
As a Procurement Manager, you will:
- Lead and deliver sourcing activities for key projects and categories, utilizing strategic sourcing techniques.
- Collaborate with senior executives to develop and implement procurement strategies for projects worth up to £100m+.
- Provide expert advice on sourcing models, ranging from catalogues and auctions to complex multi-year procurements.
- Focus on areas such as Telecoms, Technology and IT Security, Outsourcing, Innovation, and Professional Services.
What We're Looking For
We seek candidates who have:
- Significant sourcing experience across IT and Telco categories
- Sourcing expertise on one of the following areas: - Telecoms, Technology and IT, Security, Outsourcing, Innovation and Professional Services
- Advanced negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
- Strong research and analytical capabilities, particularly in supply market research and spend analysis.
- Experience in cross-functional collaborative working methods and stakeholder management.
- An analytical mindset, adept at managing large volumes of data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
