Hays Education is seeking a dynamic and dedicated PE Teacher to join one of our partner schools located in Rugby. This full-time position begins in September 2024, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop students' physical education and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective PE lessons to students of varying abilities.* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes physical activity and healthy lifestyles.* Organize and participate in extracurricular sports activities, competitions, and school events.* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE curriculum and develop innovative teaching strategies.
Qualifications:* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.* A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.* Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.* Strong classroom and behavior management skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* A commitment to promoting physical health and well-being among students.* Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with current educational practices.
