Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Counterbalance Driver to join our client in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to secure a stable position with a reputable company. The role involves a variety of tasks to support our client's logistics and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift: Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload goods.
- Booking in Deliveries: Accurately book in deliveries, ensuring all documentation is completed and systems are updated.
- Wrapping and Labelling: Wrap and label products as required, ensuring all items are correctly packaged and identified.
- Stock Management: Assist with the organisation and maintenance of stock within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- General Warehouse Duties: Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the facility.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance License: Must have a valid, in-date counterbalance forklift license.
- Experience: Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in booking, wrapping, and labelling.
- Reliability: Punctual, reliable, and able to commit to the full duration of the contract.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of performing manual handling tasks and working on your feet for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and other departments.
