Astute Recruitment are pleased to be partnering with an established business who are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a temporary 6-month contract.
Based in Derby you will be responsible for processing payroll, while working as part of a team ensuring ownership of work.
Duties:
- Accurate and punctual processing of payroll, resolving any queries
- Process timesheets for employees
- Ensure all Payroll related records are maintained
- Processing all manual calculations as required
- Process Attachment of Earnings orders
- Give information to enable the reconciliation of the payroll control accounts and advances
- Make sure information regarding payroll is explained clearly and queries are handled courteously and confidentially
- Attend meetings as required
- Provide advice on regulations to managers and staff where necessary
- Provide cover during annual leave/sickness absence
- Maintain and update knowledge of payroll and pension regulations
- Attend team building away days
Required Skills and Experience:
- End to end payroll
- Strong I.T skills
- Communication skills to liaise with other departments
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
Salary and Benefits:
- 37.5-hour week
- Hybrid 2 days work from home once up to speed
- Free on-site parking
- Salary up to £27,000 depending on experience
