Role: Senior Contracts and Compliance Officer

Based: City of London

Onsite/offsite: Hybrid working model

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum plus bonus

Reports to: Operations Department

My Recruitment client is looking for an experienced Senior Contracts & Compliance Officer who will be responsible for onboarding a high number of contractors who are working at various client businesses across the UK, Europe and USA. This is an exciting, rewarding, and challenging role that offers the successful candidate the opportunity to develop within the compliance function.

This role will be based at their London HQ and ideally, the successful candidate will be able to come to our offices at Liverpool Steet regularly.

Duties:

  • Act as the first point of contact for compliance-related queries across the UK, Europe and USA to ensure their client's requirements are met.
  • Developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting with onboarding of new contractors and offboarding any contractors due to finish their assignment.
  • Liaise with contractors on a day-to-day basis, making sure everything is running smoothly.
  • Dealing with internal queries and checking placement records on the CRM for accuracy.
  • Assist with creating policies and guidelines on best practices for compliance across the business.
  • Provide training to internal staff when required.
  • Act as project manager for external NPS monitoring.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years minimum experience within a compliance function in a recruitment agency is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of USA compliance would be ideal.
  • Highly motivated, with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyse notes and review work processes.
  • Communicate well with all levels, with a confident telephone manner.
  • An ability to handle difficult conversations, seek common ground and have a solution-orientated mindset.
  • Strong IT skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Training:

  • Extensive theoretical and practical training from day one and on an ongoing basis.
  • You work closely with other members/departments in an open-plan office. You'll be able to learn from others and shadow/ask questions.
