The Role:

As a Sales Executive specialising in RTA and RTB, you will be responsible for guiding eligible residents through the process of purchasing their homes. You will manage a portfolio of sales cases, providing expert advice and support to residents at every stage of the journey. Your goal will be to maximise sales, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for residents interested in the RTA and RTB schemes, providing clear and comprehensive information about their options.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Eligibility Assessment: Conduct eligibility assessments for RTA and RTB applicants, ensuring that residents meet the criteria for the schemes and advising them on the next steps.
  • Financial Guidance: Provide residents with information on financing options, including mortgage advice and assistance with securing the best possible terms.
  • Liaison with Stakeholders: Work closely with solicitors, mortgage advisers, and other professionals to facilitate a smooth transaction for residents. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of applications.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the housing association's homeownership goals.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, preparing regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and outcomes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including the latest guidance on RTA and RTB schemes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the property or housing sector. Experience with RTA, RTB, or similar government-backed homeownership schemes is highly desirable.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach, with a genuine passion for helping people achieve their dream of homeownership.
  • Organisational Skills: Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of housing regulations, property sales processes, and the specific requirements of RTA and RTB schemes.
