About the role:
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Senior Corporate Solicitor to join the team. As Senior Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic legal counsel and contributing to the overall success of our client's business. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate law, a deep understanding of business operations, and the ability to navigate complex legal challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
- Advise senior management on legal risks and potential impacts on business decisions
- M&A transactions acting on buy side and sell side
- Shareholders' agreements
- Corporate reorganisations and restructures
- Joint ventures
- Founder exits.
- Employee share schemes
- Working directly with entrepreneurs, MBAs and High Net Worth Individuals
Qualifications:
- A current English Law practicing Certificate.
- At least 8 years PQE in a law firm
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proven experience in a similar role
