Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lettings Valuer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting valuations, handling buy-to-let inquiries, managing landlord relations, overseeing rent reviews, and spearheading the marketing efforts for properties, including photography.

Responsibilities:

Valuations:

  • Schedule and conduct property valuations efficiently and professionally.
  • Provide accurate and well-informed valuations based on market research and property assessment.
  • Present valuation reports to potential clients with clarity and confidence.

Buy-to-Let Enquiries:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for buy-to-let inquiries from investors.
  • Assist investors in finding suitable properties for their investment portfolios.
  • Provide expert advice on rental yields, market trends, and investment opportunities.

Landlord Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords.
  • Address landlord queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Offer guidance on property management and rental strategies to maximize returns.

Rent Reviews:

  • Conduct rent reviews in accordance with contractual agreements and market conditions.
  • Negotiate rent adjustments with tenants and landlords to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations throughout the rent review process.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Coordinate the marketing of properties, including arranging professional photography and creating compelling property listings.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants and maximize property exposure.
  • Utilize various marketing channels effectively, such as online platforms, social media, and print advertising.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in property valuation and lettings within the real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Nottinghamshire property market and rental sector.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in conducting property assessments and valuations.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing lettings and property management.
  • Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle.
