The successful Primary Teacher, will be supporting a bubbly and thriving Year 4 class! The Oxfordshire students are from a diverse background and proud!

Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher Y4:

  • Effectively produce and execute interactive and engaging lessons to Year 4 pupils constructed on the National Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum.
  • Feedback, support the Year 4 students, allowing space for them to grow and develop.
  • Maintain a safe, organised and calm classroom environment.
  • Support colleagues sharing best practices.
  • Be able to extra data to implement informed teaching decisions, being adaptable to meet all needs of each Year 4 student.
  • Develop strong communication, giving regular updates on Year 4 students to parents, caregivers - building essential relationships.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings, not limited to professional development opportunities. An essential skill for a career ladder driven teacher, with TLR (Training Learning Responsibilities) as future opportunities.

Suitable Applicants:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Required.
  • Proven experience teaching/supporting children in a primary school setting or similar - not essential ECTs welcome.
  • A good understanding of the Year 4 KS2 Curriculum, or "can-do" attitude to develop understanding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
