RPG ILE Analyst Programmer - Remote working (must be UK based)

We are seeking a skilled RPG ILE Analyst Programmer to join our team in a fully remote capacity, with occasional visits to our London HQ every few months. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical experience, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure while working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain System i applications using CL, RPG, RPGLE, and Embedded SQL.
- Optimise and manage extensive SQL operations on the iSeries/AS400 platform.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects to high standards within deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with efficiency and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Quickly learn and apply new skills to maintain cutting-edge system performance.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience working under pressure in a calm, efficient, and organised manner.
- A strong track record of meeting deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply newly developed skills rapidly.
- Extensive experience with IBM i (iSeries/AS400) and the languages used to develop applications on this platform.
- Significant experience with SQL in the iSeries/AS400 environment.
- Strong technical background, including an ability to diagnose and solve complex system issues.
