Travel Sales Executive

Due to continued growth and the expansion of the business, my clients are recruiting a full time travel sales executives for its office in Norwich, Norfolk.

My clients offers a dynamic working environment that inspires a passion for high-quality customer service and offers each customer a bespoke worldwide adventure.

It is a company that currently specialises in Fishing and shooting holidays all over the world. However, with its development plans there will be expansion into other sporting holidays, Giving the successful applicants the opportunity to grow with the company and further their career.

The Travel Sales Executive role demands excellent communication skills, product knowledge, organisational skills, confidence, the ability to develop and maintain customer relationships, and the ability to work effectively in a team. It is an in-person, office-based role.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an exceptionally high level of sales talent and experience, However, we will also consider anyone looking to enter into travel sales who can demonstrate a passion for this role.

Experience in travel, fishing and/or shooting is preferable but not essential as full training will be given.

Key Responsibilities

  • Converting enquiries via phone, email and social media to meet company targets
  • Maintain rapport with potential and existing clients by managing customer database for returning customers and customer feedback forms.
  • Preparing pre-trip information
  • Proactively looking for new suppliers or lodges to work with to expand our ever-growing portfolio.
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • To ensure the company's values are consistently demonstrated.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong proven sales experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • An organised & disciplined attitude towards managing workload
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Highly organised.
  • Resilience to deal with complex queries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to come up with creative solutions to issues.
  • A passion for travel.
  • Confident with a positive attitude
  • Experience of working within the travel industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience and knowledge within the fishing / shooting industry Is desirable but not essential.
