This is a classic customer care and sales/purchasing role in which you will be taking inbound enquiries from clients who will ask you to source certain pieces of heavy industrial equipment. Your role is to source heavy industrial equipment and then liaise with the client , add a " finders fee" and then liaise with the warehouse who will dispatch it . Nice and straight forward. This is a classic senior level technical customer care and purchasing role in which you will be taking inbound enquiries from clients who will ask you to source certain pieces of heavy industrial equipment.
Your role is to source heavy industrial equipment and then liaise with the client in ITALIAN, add a " finders fee" and then liaise with the warehouse who will dispatch it . Nice and straight forward.
THE ROLE : You will be supporting the UK and international sales team and work in English and also in Italian
- Researching new suppliers globally in order to source products
- Getting quotations from suppliers in Italy
- Comparing prices and service levels
- Producing quotations for clients . Negotiate a price and delivery schedule with the supplier
- Dealing with enquiries from clients looking for a specific piece of heavy industry or essential spare part
- Reviewing technical drawings (Gaskets, Valves (actuated and manual),Flame arrestors, Tank treatment) in order to understand the customer's requirements
- agree terms of business and delivery schedule with client
- Liaise with the warehouse who will arrange all the logistics
- All post sales administration
- Provide an outstanding level of personal customer care at all times.
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent English & Italian
- Car driver essential
- Purchasing/buying experience ideally in a technical ( or engineering) environment
- Based locally
