Trainee Science Teacher

As a Trainee Science Teacher, you will:

  • Develop and Deliver Lessons: Plan and execute engaging and effective Science lessons for Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Promote Science: Encourage a love of reading and writing, helping students to develop strong science.
  • Support Student Progress: Monitor and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth.
  • Engage in Professional Development: Participate in the Grad2Teach programme, receiving high-quality training, mentoring, and support to gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with a dedicated team of educators to share best practices and contribute to a positive school environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Academic Background: A degree in Science or a related field (not essential)
  • Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring young minds.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving educational environment.
