Cyber Security Engineer, M&A, £635(inside) 10 months +Extension - SIEM, SOAR, IdAM, Vulnerability Management.
Are you a Cyber Security Engineer and ready to take on a pivotal role in a global business? Working on a M&A, the largest in its sector. You will be joining the team as an Cyber SME to support the CISO, Project Manager and other SMEs to execute and deliver the Cyber Security plan for a large-scale acquisition and merger.
Skills and experience -
- Experience with security frameworks like ISO27001 as well as exposure to Data Protection & GDPR would be highly sought after.
- Good to have experience of FireEye/Trellix, MS Defender for Endpoints, Nessus, MS Sentinel, Google Chronicle, Splunk, AWS cloud security, Okta.
- The ideal candidate will come from a Cyber Security Engineering background, with Significant level of experience in providing 2nd and 3rd line engineering for large scale organisations.
- Experience working with large scale Cyber Security projects/changes/merger.
Responsibilities -
Project Governance and time management.
- Create and maintain cyber action plan.
- Track and communicate progress, risks, and issues.
- Review, report, and sign-off Infrastructure designs.
Security Tooling (EDR, Vulnerability Management, IdAM, SIEM, SOAR).
- Input/review into cyber security design artefacts (HLD/LLD) and provide security engineering consultancy.
- Implementation cyber security support activities (configuration, connectivity, integration, optimization, tuning & testing).
- Develop and maintain documentation including standard operating procedures/runbooks.
- Provide support to the governance and data protection teams.
This role is a contract position until the end of March 2025 with extension.
