HR Internal Communications Lead

Reed HR are delighted to be working with one of our long-standing clients who are seeking an experienced HR Internal Communications Lead to help drive an exciting programme of transformation. The ideal candidate will possess strong change communications expertise and be capable of crafting and executing a comprehensive transformation communications strategy. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring communications and engagement around the transformation programme are excellent, people-focused, cohesive, and well-orchestrated.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Develop a clear and effective communication strategy that aligns with the transformation programme's goals, objectives, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand the changes being implemented and craft messaging that resonates with each stakeholder group.
  • Identify the most suitable communication channels in partnership with internal communications colleagues to ensure stakeholder engagement throughout the project.
  • Manage resistance to change by fostering widespread employee engagement and facilitating a smooth transition to new ways of working.
  • Create a detailed stakeholder engagement plan and work with the project team to customise messages and engagement strategies for different groups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in leading internal communications for significant change and transformation initiatives.
  • Background in internal communications within large, complex organisations with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • The capacity to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Human Resources and Internal Communications issues, trends, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
