Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Broadstairs, Kent
Salary: £22,503
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
- Unload incoming deliveries.
- Carry out quality checks on goods going out to customers.
- Check weight and measurements for dispatch paperwork.
- Check goods against delivery notes and report any discrepancies.
- Organise and store goods in the appropriate locations.
- Ensure that inventory is accurately recorded and maintained.
- Accurately pick products, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
- Prepare orders for dispatch by securely packing products and labelling parcels,.
- Assist with the loading of outgoing shipments.
- Participate in regular stock checks and inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Input data such as weights and measurements for items and waste packaging.
- Printing of items on in house pad printing machines.
- Other duties may include general cleaning, basic maintenance, gardening etc.
Experience and skills required for this position:
- Previous experience within a warehouse environment.
- Must be computer literate.
