Description
We are working with an Industrial Manufacturer who are looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to join the team, based in Liverpool.
Responsibilities
- Experienced working within a health and safety role previously, able to work effectively with Site Manager and Health & Safety Manager.
- Able to work closely with the Production Manager to maintain accurate records of incidents and provide risk assessments/records.
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety legal requirements and policies, able to implement and maintain these with the teams.
- Conduct safety audits which identifies potential hazards.
- Ensuring training records are up to date and deliver on health and safety training programmes.
- Lead on regular site inspections to ensure site is compliance with health and safety.
- Support the site team in identifying and closing any gaps in HSE standards.
- Advise what areas need improvement.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH, IOSH or a relevant Health & Safety Certificate.
- Experience working within a manufacturing site.
- Able to communicate between all departments.
- Providing a fresh perspective against current health and safety.
Salary
- £35,000 - £40,000
- Monday to Friday
