Senior Finance Analyst London £85,000 - £95,000 + bonus & excellent benefits

Due to continued growth and expansion of internal service offerings, a new position has been created for a Senior Finance Analyst. Reporting to both the Finance Director and Head of Operations, the role will ensure key analysis and trends are provided to a high performing Practice Group.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Analyst
- Create high level trends analysis and provide conclusions to support the growth and financial performance of the Practice Group (PG)
- Review PG monthly financial performance and provide commentary and discussions on areas of concern
- Ad-hoc analysis of both financial and non-financial data to assist with key projects (e.g. resource management efficiency; client revenue growth; project ROI)
- Manage section financial forecast - including calls with lead partner(s) in offices to discuss full year expectations
- Drive improved management of the budget including liaising with lead partners in offices on headcount, market dynamics etc
- Produce analysis to support key stakeholders on billing/collection drives and full year revenue forecast
Skills & Attributes of the Senior Finance Analyst
- 5 years' experience of working in financial analysis role
- Experience in professional services is preferred but not essential
- Experience of using core financial systems, tools and databases to prepare financial analysis
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- High levels of self-motivation, resourceful and proactive in assessing how to solve challenges
- Professional composure in highly pressured situations
- A natural ability to rapidly build good relationships - with fee-earners and very senior stakeholders across all functions
