Location - Crawley, RH10 Hours – 8am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Pay Rate - £12.00ph - £13.00ph determined by experience Role – Picker and Packer, Warehouse Assistant, Production Operative

WAREHOUSE / PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Our client is a friendly, family-owned, and operated business. They were founded in 2005 to provide a comprehensive range of the highest quality industrial and commercial electric heaters. This opportunity is for an additional member of staff to join them as a production/warehouse operative, on a temp ongoing / temp-to-perm basis. They specialise in commercial and industrial electric heaters and sell via a network of electrical wholesalers.

DUTIES (can vary):

  • Picking items from throughout the warehouse to fulfil customer orders.
  • Packing picked goods for dispatch/collection.
  • Repacking returned products.
  • Relabelling products.
  • Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and checking in of stock.
  • Stock counting and location checks.
  • Assisting with maintaining neat and tidy stores.
  • Local customer deliveries in company vehicles.
  • Assisting with product rework.
  • Assembling heater controls.
  • Reworking halogen and ceramic heaters.
  • Working to company quality standards.
  • Assisting with maintaining a neat and tidy production area.
  • Assembling controls and heaters as directed by the production supervisor to the required standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Communicating and interacting with suppliers and customers.
  • Adhering to company rules and regulations.
  • Assisting with other activities as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Warehouse experience.
  • Full clean driving license (helpful but not essential).
  • Good practical skills and some assembly experience.
  • Basic electrical knowledge (helpful but not essential).
  • Forklift license (Counterbalance is beneficial but not essential - all applicants will be considered regardless of previous experience).
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work with small components.
