Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide exemplary pharmacy services in line with current legislation, clinical requirements, and professional standards.
- Offer advice and support to consultants, other clinicians, and patients, ensuring the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the pharmacy team effectively, providing excellent leadership and fostering a continuous learning culture.
- Advise on the safe management of medicines across the hospital and its departments, ensuring compliance with current legislation and professional standards.
- Lead quality improvement projects and audits within the pharmacy department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be GPHC registered without any restrictions or conditions.
- Significant experience in a clinical pharmacy setting is essential.
- Proven leadership or managerial experience in a Pharmacy setting.
- Knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy is highly desirable.
- Ability to share evidence-based practices with colleagues to enhance service and standards.
