A dynamic and innovative general insurance company that is committed to using data and technology to drive business decisions. With continued growth, they are seeking a talented Pricing Modelling Analyst to join the team and help make data-driven pricing decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Pricing Analyst / Data Scientist, you will be a modelling specialist within the broader pricing function. Your role will focus on optimising models and helping to innovate and improve current model processes and methodologies. This is the chance to be a thought leader and go-to resource for pricing models.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in pricing modelling using Emblem
- Good modelling experience, ideally within demand modelling, price sensitivity etc
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience using statistical software such as Python, R or SAS
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working in cross-functional teams
- Experience working with large datasets and databases
- Ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with actuarial concepts and tools is a plus
