Are you a skilled and motivated Plant Fitter looking to work with heavy-duty construction machinery? We're looking for an experienced and reliable individual to join our client, helping to maintain and repair a range of equipment used across various construction projects.
?? Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and maintain a wide range of plant equipment including excavators, dumpers, loaders, and telehandlers.
- Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs both in the workshop and on-site.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
- Ensure all machinery is safe, compliant, and operating at peak performance.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and complete job sheets.
? Requirements:
- Proven experience as a plant fitter, construction mechanic, or similar role.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent qualification/training).
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel engines.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
