My client is a leading national law firm; their employment team in Bristol is ranked as a Band 1 leader in both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 UK. The team is expanding and are seeking a dynamic Solicitor/Associate to join them where you will work with top-tier clients across financial services, healthcare, and commercial sectors.
The Role:
As a valued member of the team, you will:
- Manage a diverse caseload: Provide expert advice to employers, particularly in the financial services sector.
- Handle complex litigation: Work on high-stakes discrimination, whistleblowing, and breach of contract cases, both in Employment Tribunals and the High Court.
- Support major projects: Assist with non-contentious matters such as restructures (redundancy and TUPE) within the UK and across multiple jurisdictions.
- Offer day-to-day advice: Provide guidance on general employment matters via phone and email.
- Mentor and develop junior staff: Play a key role in supervising and nurturing the growth of trainees and paralegals.
- Drive business development: Engage in marketing, networking, and client development activities, including delivering training and seminars.
- Contribute to their knowledge base: Participate in non-fee-earning activities like internal training and knowledge sharing.
