Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Cannock (mostly remote)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,00
Top of the range will be offered to a candidate with proven experience running Management Accounts with minimal supervision.
We are currently recruiting for a really exciting client of ours, they are nationally recognised in their field and offer a whole host of attractive benefits! This role is crucial in supporting the Finance Manager with financial analysis and reporting, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial functions and driving business success.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly analysis reports to support business decisions
- Support the preparation of accurate weekly and monthly Management Accounts, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
- Assist in reviewing and controlling costs across different areas of the business
- Handle accruals, journals, general ledger, and KPI reporting to ensure financial accuracy
- Take charge of key areas such as Balance Sheet, Stock Control, Fixed Fleet Costs and Capital Expenditure
- Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments to drive efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations
Ideally, You Will:
- Have started your studies or be Part-Qualified in ACCA or CIMA
- Must have proven, relevant experience in Management Accounts including balance sheet work and profit & loss analysis
- Have a proactive attitude, be enthusiastic with a flexible approach and ready to take initiative!
- Be a confident user of Microsoft Excel with at least the use of V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
