Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons that cover a range of topics from basic arithmetic to advanced algebra, geometry and statistics.
- Foster an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where students feel confident to engage with mathematical concepts and problem-solving.
- Encourage students to develop logical thinking and a deep understanding of mathematical principles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Maths curriculum.
- Inspire students to develop a love for numbers and problem-solving that will last throughout their lives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required for this position.
- A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Excellent classroom management.
- Experience as a Maths Teacher at the secondary school level.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
