The successful Commercial Enquiry Development Engineering Lead will lead a dedicated team of engineers and conducting commercial enquiry development activities on NWE assets**.**
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Commercial Enquiry Development Engineers.
- Customer Enquiry Management: Oversee the receipt and analysis of customer enquiries, ensuring all technical and commercial requirements are met.
- Pricing and Quotation Strategy: Develop and approve accurate and competitive pricing strategies based on customer specifications and market conditions. Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) Oversight.
- Technical Support: Provide high-level technical support to customers throughout the enquiry and bidding process.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate records of customer enquiries, pricing decisions, and FEED study outcomes are maintained.
To be successful in this role of Commercial Enquiry Development Engineering Lead we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
- To be a Chartered Engineer with a minimum of 10 year's experience in a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing industry with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Proven experience in pricing and cost estimation is essential along with proficiency in engineering design software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team and strong organisational skills are also essential.
- Financial acumen & budget setting a Full Driving Licence and Good command of written English with experience in report writing.
