RM Recruit Ltd is working in partnership with our Midlands based Housing client to recruit an Interim Head of Asset Management for circa 3 months. This role is based at their Lambeth offices on a full time basis.
Main duties include:
- Being responsible for the management/overseeing the Asset Management team, including the team in another office.
- The main focus is improving the repairs service, therefore, there is a requirement that the ideal candidate possesses strong repairs experience along with planned works as the main task will be to improve repairs, performance and contract management.
- You will managing the repairs service and to effectively manage the team and liaising with the different departments and external contractors to improve the service.
- The role requires travel to other locations within the Lambeth area.
- Ensure effective complaints management, investigating and responding to all complaints in a customer friendly, timely manner. Demonstrating service improvements from lessons learnt
- Budget setting and management of all services demonstrating commercial acumen and cost control to ensure that the organisation delivers a quality cost effective service
As the ideal candidate, you will possess the requisite experience above and we are looking for an immediate start. The role is office based working 37 hours per week and there is scope to work across the business where you can make positive change and ensure repair services are improved across the board.
